Pre-production concept testing

See your ad before you make it.

Riffcheck turns your brief into a real video — a production-quality animatic — and tests it against a synthetic audience of HCPs, patients, or your target consumer, so you back the winning version before you spend a dollar producing it.

A “riff” is a version of your ad — Riffcheck turns each one into video and shows which one lands.

First 60-second test free — first 50 sign-ups, work email · built for pharma, biotech & the agencies who serve them.First 60-second test free — first 50 sign-ups, work email · for brand & agency teams who pre-test creative.

Most creative ships untested. A real pre-test costs weeks and five figures — so teams guess, and the miss isn't found until the money's already spent.

Riffcheck makes testing cheap and fast enough to run on every concept. Screen twenty routes, kill the losers before production, and walk into the room — or into MLR — with evidence instead of opinion.

Sample output

See the quality.

A 60-second video — a production-quality animatic — produced with the Riffcheck pipeline. The kind of polished, testable ad a brief becomes.

How it works

From first riff to the winning version.

Five steps, one console. Every guardrail — moderation, regulated-claim flags, AI-disclosure — runs automatically, so your team drives it end to end.

01

Brief

Product, audience, message, tone, length. A regulated-claim check runs on the way in.

02

Animatic (video)

An editable storyboard becomes a polished animatic — a fully-animated video of your ad, with characters, voiceover, and score.

03

Synthetic panel

Screen it against configurable segments: cardiologists, patients 55+, brand-team, consumers.

04

Signal

Scores by segment, the lines that land, the moments that lose people, ranked fixes.

05

Riff again

One click rebuilds the next version with the fixes applied. Iterate until the signal is strong.

The client console

The whole workflow, self-serve.

No account managers, no waiting on a research vendor. This is the actual interface your team works in — click through it.

Who it's for

Two audiences, one instrument.

Pharma & biotech

Test the message before MLR — and before the media buy.

  • Read HCP and patient reactions by specialty and line before committing spend.
  • Prompts that surface common review considerations — fair balance, possible off-label cues — for your MLR team's own evaluation, with a full audit trail. Not a compliance check.
  • In-silico is already your language — synthetic pre-screening fits how you de-risk.
  • Kill weak routes early; take only the concepts worth your team's time into review.
Agencies & brand teams

Walk into the pitch with evidence, not a hunch.

  • Screen twenty creative routes overnight; bring the client the two that survive.
  • Segment reads that show who a concept wins and where it loses them.
  • Benchmark against category norms only a neutral third party can offer.
  • Refine in minutes — iterate the idea before a single production dollar is spent.
Rigor

Directional by design. Honest by default.

Synthetic panels are a triage instrument, not a crystal ball. Riffcheck gives you fast, directional signal to shortlist concepts — then you take the survivors to your own market research to validate with real people. We're the cheap, fast pre-screen; your panels are the proof. We report directional signal only, and never put a predictive number ahead of the evidence.

Is a synthetic panel valid research?

It's directional, not predictive — a fast triage step to shortlist concepts before you spend on real market research. You take the survivors to your own panels to validate with real people; we're the pre-screen, not the proof. As validation data accumulates — including opt-in outcomes from teams who do run real research — our reads calibrate over time, but we never put a predictive number ahead of the evidence.

What exactly is one "output"?

One tested concept: a production-quality animatic up to 60 seconds, licensed background music you can toggle on or off (rolling out; no separate music subscription or fees), one synthetic panel across the segments you choose, and up to three refine passes within that concept. Refining a v2, v3 or v4 doesn't cost extra — a fourth refine starts a new output, since each regeneration is real compute.

How do you handle pharma compliance?

The Pharma tier runs advisory claim-flagging and fair-balance prompts, checks against a label you upload, keeps a full audit trail, and stamps AI-disclosure on every export. These are advisory flags for your review — not compliance determinations. Every export asks you to confirm it will go through your own MLR/regulatory review, which remains the decision-maker. Enterprise adds Veeva integration, SOC 2, and 21 CFR Part 11 e-signatures.

Who owns the outputs, and where does our data go?

You get a broad commercial license to use everything you generate. Your briefs and assets aren't used to train models by default, and you can delete them anytime. Anything you upload stays yours — you just need the rights to use it.

What if I cancel, or don't use all my outputs?

Cancel anytime — no contracts, no lock-in. You only pay for what you run: every output you don't use is refunded on a prorated basis, less the non-recoverable card-processing fee (about 3%, or near-zero if you pay by ACH or invoice). Buy 20, run 1, and we refund the other 19. No forms, no penalty.
